Hello everyone!
I wanted to reach out to give you all a status update. I'm planning on writing these updates monthly with the project's progress. Here's the TLDR:
Preorder store is live if you missed the campaign
BackerKit surveys coming soon (shipping will be charged later)
We're in pre-production, getting final manufacturing files approved
First, the preorder store is live! If you missed the campaign, you can still preorder the games for a couple of months until we begin shipping.
The pledge manager surveys will be sent soon. I've submitted for review and once approved I will send them out. This will let you confirm the items you ordered and put in shipping information.
This will be a multi-step process and shipping will not be charged until we are closer to fulfillment.
We are currently still in pre-production, but getting very close to starting manufacturing. The last few weeks have been full of exhilarating communications with the manufacturer of the games about bleed lines, punchboard token sizes, and other minuscule details about the different components.
An example is several days were spent going back and forth about this fun ASCII symbol: ⚠ that was showing up incorrectly as ☒ on only one of the 3 bags and we couldn't figure out why.
However, don't worry. I anticipated all of this having worked on many board and card game projects during my years working for Arcane Wonders and CGE, so we're still on track for November delivery (hopefully sooner).
That's all I have for today. I'll have another update in about a month (unless I receive something exciting to share).
It has been a blast, but the campaign is ending!

Thank you once again everyone for your support, for sharing the campaign with your friends, and joining us in the inaugural Satchel Games Kickstarter campaign! It’s been a huge success and we’re looking forward to the next steps.
If you haven’t backed yet, there is still time! The Kickstarter ends at 8pm EDT. The next place to get the games will be at Lug Con in October in Georgia!
The next updates are all going to be coming at a 1-per-month pace (unless there's something super exciting to share), and so everyone knows here are our next steps for this month:
Final graphic edits into designer this weekend
Final graphic edits to manufacturer by June 26
Payments of deposit + royalties first week of July
Next update we'll let you know the manufacturing & shipping schedules I'm hearing from the factory. Not the most exhilarating stuff, but we promise to keep everyone notified with statuses!

Yes, I know...but what's a campaign without at least one dad joke thrown in?
The campaign ends this Friday, and we just updated our backer goal to 400 backers! At the time of writing we're at 224 backers, and if we hit our goal, you will get $5 OFF if you return and are a backer in our next campaign! I wanted to try to support everyone a bit, and hopefully build a bigger community around our little games.
One way you can help us achieve this goal is to reach out to your local game/toy/comic/gift stores! As an additional bonus if you email us at [email protected] with the subject line: MY STORE BACKED! (and I can confirm that yes, they backed) you will get a $12 credit applied to your pledge in the BackerKit pledge manager!

This is going to be a shorter update today, but I wanted to thank everyone who has backed again for helping make this all possible!
I do want to let you all know that I will be live-streaming tomorrow from 4:00 to 5:00pm EDT on Twitch! My kids Evelyn and Malachi will be joining me, we'll be playing the games and answering any questions you have.
